In the morning, we seen off our support member to LAX.
Then, we took a lunch at the marina del ray.

 

5th July

Today was off.
Each one enjoyed free time, relaxing, shopping, etc..

In the evening, we joined the burger party in the shoreline yacht club.
Thank you great hospitality, shoreline yacht club!

Burgee, Burgee, Burgees!!!

After that, we had been to Venice beach to take dinner..

2nd day of Test Sailing

Today was practice day.

We checked crew work and boat's characteristic.

Test Sailing, July 3rd

Today was the first day of test sailing.

We had good time with checking hull, rig, sail, and etc..

In the morning, Is was little cold.

Many sea lions were resting on the buoy!

After test sailing, we visited to Point Fermin Lighthouse.
This lighthouse is start point of Transpac race.

Almost all members arrived Long Beach today.
(Shore crew stay here from last sunday.)

Then, we went sightseeing very short time.

And, we had good meatig At good restrant.

Team "GEFION" started to active as sailing team in 2001.
We usually participate in the offhore races. As well as, we enjoyed oversea races.
In JAPAN  We won most tradition offshore races.

Last weekend, the 63th Oshima Race was held.
